In2Cricket at

Elsternwick Cricket Club

MILO In2Cricket is the name for Cricket Australia's entry level program, formerly known as Have A Go. The program is a fun introduction to the game of cricket for young boys and girls typically aged 5 to 9 years old. It provides children with an enjoyable and safe learning environment where they can build their confidence, develop new skills and play games. The In2Cricket program is designed to teach children the basic skills of cricket and foster development of social skills and friendships. Children leave the program with the skills necessary to commence in structured under age competition should they desire to continue with cricket as a sport.

The Elsternwick program consists of 10 one hour sessions held on Saturday mornings during November, December and February at our main ground at Elsternwick Park. The program is run by an experienced senior cricketer and parents are encouraged to assist with activities and join in the fun.

Participants are graded according to age and previous experience.  A hybrid program may be conducted depending on the numbers and age profile / experience of the registered participants.

It costs $100 to register for the program with each child receiving a participant kit that includes: -
  • A multi purpose carry bag
  • A lightweight cricket bat
  • A soft rubber cricket ball
  • A SPF 30+ t-shirt
  • A sunsmart bucket hat
  • A drink bottle
  • MILO giveaways

Registrations are done on-line through the Play Cricket Website.
